VIPERS FC complete the transfer of Allan Kayiwa from Tooro United

VIPERS Football Club has confirmed the signing of forward Allan Kayiwa from Tooro United on a free transfer.

Kayiwa was unveiled to his new teammates by Vipers head coach Micheal Nam Ouma on 26th June at the club’s training ground.

The tantalizing forward who has been a subject of interest from a number of league opponents is the Venom’s first signing of the season.

In his first interview, Kayiwa claimed that he was excited to be joining Vipers because it was his best choice out of the many sides that were yearning for his services.

“I have made the best choice to join this great club; it’s my new home and I am so excited to be here. I am ready for the new challenge as well,” said Kayiwa.

The youngster who is also known for his vision and eye for goal broke on to the local scene in 2015 from the formerly called Soana FC Academy and proved his worth in the senior team subsequently attracting interest from many rival clubs.

Soana FC changed its name to Tooro United.

Of recent, Kayiwa has been the most consistent player at Tooro United averaging eight goals and assists in each of his last two seasons at the club.

Last month he was also part of the Uganda Cranes Cosafa Cup team that lost to Lesotho in the quarterfinals and to South Africa in the plate semifinal.
