Tamale Mirundi on Bobi Wine
Mirundi: That boy has changed the political landscape of Uganda

Tamale Mirundi said Bobi Wine studied Uganda’s politics before starting up the play and today his competitors’ are stranded on what to do next to overcome him.

Joseph Tamale Mirundi, presidential adviser on media issues says the Kyadondo East legislator common name Bobi Wine works for John Patrick Amama Mbabazi, the former Prime Minister and Presidential contestant.

In his view, Mirundi allegedly said that Bobi Wine’s impressive takes and potential to jump over the ‘political traps’ must be powered by Mbabazi.

“Bobi Wine has someone calculating moves for him and that must be Mbabazi. If we are in football, he’s in semi-finals, he jumped out of the traps, money traps and party traps. Now the political landscape has changed,” Mirundi said.

Mirundi made the remarks while appearing on NBS Television on his weekly shows held on Tuesday.

Additionally, Mirundi said that Bobi Wine cannot win president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni through the ballot, even though he has shaken the political arena.

“Once you see Museveni picking presidential nomination papers, he has won. This is because if he loses, he risks his future and past. Museveni cannot be defeated once he picks papers because he has evaluated and assessed,” Mirundi said.

Relatedly, Mirundi said not even a coalition of political parties in Uganda can defeat president Museveni in the ballot, because the people coming around to take over power are idealess and Museveni will never hand over power to hostile politicians.

“A powerful president cannot be succeeded by an equally powerful person. To succeed a powerful leader, you must be politically impotent.”

Mirundi further said that a coalition between Rt Col Dr Kizza Besigye and Bobi Wine will never happen because the two individuals are like milk and salt combination they will never accommodate each other.

“If Bobi Wine joins Besigye, he will have killed his political career,” said Mirundi.

Mirundi said Bobi Wine studied Uganda’s politics before starting up the play and today his competitors’ are stranded on what to do next to overcome him.

“That boy has changed the political landscape of Uganda. All the drags that have been applied to stop him have failed.”

On the issue of appointing the coordination team at People Power Pressure Group, Mirundi says it’s a habit that people always remember the implementers and forget the initiator.

He says the appointment of the coordination team is a step ahead towards his presidential aspirations.

According to Mirundi Bobi Wine has to integrate with Mugisha Muntu, the Alliance for National Transformation leader and former FDC president which he recently shunned if he’s to reach the heights in his presidential endeavours.
